What to look for in a Bible-believing church
✓ They teach that the Bible is God's true Word.
✓ They teach that Jesus is God's Son, who died for our sins and rose again.
✓ They teach that we are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus, not by being good enough.
✓ The pastor opens the Bible and explains it when he preaches.
✓ People pray together and care for each other like a family.
Most churches have a "What we believe" page on their website. It's a great place to check these things before you visit.
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
