About New in Christ

Why we made this

We wanted a place where people who are new to following Jesus can feel loved, happy, and peaceful. Starting out can feel big, so we made something simple: a new verse every day, verses for whatever you're feeling, and easy first steps.

What you'll find here

A Verse of the Day on the home page. Every day a new verse, every day a new start.

Verses for feelings for days when you're scared, lonely, thankful, or unsure.

Start Here, with first steps for brand-new believers.

Read the Bible, with every book of the Bible in the NLT.

Find a Church, to help you find a Bible-believing church family near you.

Share it!

Every verse has a "Share with a friend" button. If a verse helps you, send it to someone who might need it today.

Our logo

Our logo was hand-drawn: the cross of Jesus, a banner with His name, and a bright glow, because Jesus is the light of the world.

Our Bible translation

All verses on this site are from the New Living Translation (NLT), which is easy to read and understand.
